Dezperstige— Jewelry & Accessory Design

Developed as a 27-piece jewelry collection, Dez explores the translation of visual and cultural references from the Sassanid era into a contemporary design language. As Lead Jewelry Designer, I developed the collection from historical research and concept development through detailed design and preparation for production.

The process began with an in-depth study of Sassanid patterns, motifs, geometry, and visual symbolism. Selected references were then reinterpreted through form and color, with individual names and narratives developed for each piece to connect the collection through a broader cultural story.

Initial concepts were developed through hand sketches and refined into full-scale digital renderings, defining stone placement, settings, proportions, and technical connections. Following design approval, the pieces progressed into 3D modeling, prototyping, and production, requiring close consideration of construction, durability, material sourcing, and craftsmanship.

Alongside the jewelry, I contributed to the development of patterns and packaging, extending the collection’s visual language beyond the individual pieces and creating a more cohesive identity for the brand’s first collection.
